NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Annual Election of the Morrisonville Fire District will take place on Tuesday, December 13th, 2022 between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M. at the Morrisonville Fire Station, located at 1927 State Route 22B, Morrisonville, NY for the purpose of electing one (1) Fire Commissioner for a five (5) year term, commencing January 1st, 2023 and ending December 31st, 2026.
To be eligible to vote in the Annual District Election, a person must reside in the fire district at least 30 days before the election, which is November 13th, 2022, and must register with the Clinton County Board of Elections on or before November 21st, 2022. Absentee voting is not permitted.
Before a name can be placed on the ballot for a Commissioner position, a candidate must submit a letter of intent, which states the term they are seeking as commissioner. The letter should be provided to the District Secretary at P.O. Box 352, Morrisonville, NY 12962 no later than November 24th, 2022.
